Rain. That's exactly what happens all day. It has been raining heavily these past few days that all the roads are flooded. It was even reported in the news that the Bukit Timah area was flooded such that the vehicles broke down. The same thing almost happened to my brother's friend, who was trapped in a bus in the expressway. Apparently the water levels got so high that the bus couldn't move for half an hour. In the end, the bus drive took a detour from the original bus route because the weather conditions were terrible.

On another note, some smart guy came up with the idea of modifying the side gate and apparently now it's becoming very inaccessible, not to mention slow, inconvenient and extremely frustrating. It's hard to explain how the gates have become, I'll try to take a picture the next time I blog. Or you can go to the MJC side gate to take a look for yourself.

Today we had a talk with the vice principal. Can't say much about the predicament I'm in now. I'm an advanced student. Neither here nor there. But I can do something about it if I choose to. So I better mug NOW for A's! No more slacking. Less dotaing and seriously I don't think I have much time to practice guitar.

Ahh...another dream dashed. But sometimes sacrifices have to be made. Then again, everyone knows sacrifices are made for the "greater good". At this stage, I realised that the holidays is really nothing much to rejoice about. It just makes things harder for me. To actually sit down and get the work done.

Ya time for my mugging section. You can stop reading here. The rest below is really for my own assessment, revision and reviewing.

Okay yesterday during econs lecture, I was extremely lethargic. I was trying hard to keep awake and the rain didn't do much to help either. Well we learnt something new called the Keynesian theory of income and employment. Apparently there's this really really smart guy called Keynes and he developed a model of economics that didn't agree with others. He believed that aggregate expenditure (AE) would contribute to income, output and employment. In fact, his theory helped lift his country out of the Great Depression. We learnt about the first component of AE called consumption expenditure (CE) and how it was related to the level of national income. We learnt about the consumption function c=a+bY where b represents the marginal propensity to consume (MPC) and is calculated by change in consumption/ change in income. We also learnt about average propensity to consume (APC) which is calculated by consumption/income. Ya by now you should tell I'm cheating and referring to my lecture notes to come up with this stuff. Duh you don't expect me to memorise all this stuff within one lecture right?

We also learnt about the Withdrawal Function of W= -a+(1-b)y, which can somehow be determined by the Consumption Function since Y= C+W. We also learnt about the break even point, where planned consumption = income, represented by an intersection of the 45 degree line (which represents planned consumption = income) with the consumption function line.

Okay then in Physics we learnt about superposition. We learnt about diffraction, which is determined by the wavelength and size of aperture. We learnt about wave overlap and the basis behind the Principle of Superposition. The phase or path difference between meeting waves can determine whether there are constructive or destructive interferences, which presents itself in bright and dark fringes.

And you know what? This referring-to-lecture-notes-and-regurgitating-it-on-blog-post thingy has just reminded how much homework I have to do. Okay shall end my post here now. See ya guys and have a great weekend. For me, I'd just be happy if I can live through the weekend in one piece.
