Animal abuse. HELP STOP IT.
Almost voiceless. That's what I am now. Ever since I went fell sick after night cycling, I haven't recovered yet. Having a really raspy voice now which is kinda cool but frustrating at the same time. This also reminds me that I didn't blog about the night cycling escapade with Benny, Sheng, Kenny and Zhen Hui on the previous Saturday 21 Nov. It was a cold dark day (not exaggerating). It looked like it was going to rain anytime and there were constantly lightning flashes but no thunder thankfully. In the end, it didn't rain thankfully. Towards 12am in the morning, my throat started to feel sore and I was running out of water. Thankfully, after much rerouting, we cycled from ECP, through the Esplanade to Marina Barrage, where we could get a breather. Slacked there for quite a bit and played some Ugly Ugly Ugly game which was really fun. We slacked there for quite a bit while blasting music and then off we went again. Sadly, Benny's bike wheel punctured so it ended being a really tedious ride back. I slept on the bridge for so long and it was so cold and I had a really bad headache since then. I got quite a big shock when I saw my friend in ECP Macdonalds at 5+ in the morning. After clarification, I realised he was also night cycling LOL. Similarly, he also agreed that the bike seats sucked. It gave me muscle aches everywhere, arms, legs, crotch, butt yea fuck the bikes.
However, I must still say it was a fucking awesome experience (though I wont be replicating it anytime soon).
On a different note, school is finally over. Im so elated. I was so sick everyday that I constantly wanted to pon school cause I was having trouble waking up and getting my body engine started for school. Heck, my head was spinning in the lecture theatre on Thursday such that I fell down and broke my leg quite badly. Now my leg is in fucking pain everytime I try to bend. And my illness is not even gone yet. Dayemmm.
Also, I attended some forum today on advocacy for community causes. Mine was about animal abuse and I had no idea what I was in for. The first thing that came to my mind was animal cruelty wow but I had a real eye-opener today. There was this guy from ACRES who was a really charismatic speaker and he really got me inspired on the issue. The treatment some animals experience are really beyond the humanity of mankind. I became quite inspired and thus I didn't pon the forum even though I originally intended to leave early by faking a stomachache/headache/eye infection etc.
The first video has a bit of graphic scenes so don't watch if u can't take it. It really shows how cruel some people can be.
And this video is about a monkey who was being tested on by drugs out of his will. They made him panic and stressed on purpose to see what kind of hormones he would release for scientific purposes and the monkey went mad literally. Is damn saddistic man.
Fuck the world is screwed.
